This estate-bought Malayer (circa 1900) had so much dirt in it you could have planted a garden on top. Fortunately, the rug cleaned up nicely and is in surprisingly good condition. There are no restorations, some scattered moth nibbles, a bit of oxidation, and a few missing rows on both ends. The ends have been secured. It is an attractive piece with a herati pattern and it is perfectly usable in its current state. Nearly square format: 5’11” x 5’4”.
