 a weaving from the "Rio Grande" tradition, i.e., from central and northern New Mexico that has a lot of mexician Saltillo serape influence ca 1910-1930 size  80" x 51".  Made in 2 sections from hand spun wool with natural dyes. The "whirling logs" (backwards swaztika) was most popular 1900 through 1930's.
