Kurdish bagface—the piled face of half of a double saddlebag (khorjin). Has an additional piled panel below the borders where the bottom fold of the bag was. Good thick pile with no appreciable wear. Some tattered remnants of the closure panels across the top. Sides nearly complete except for fraying at the lower right and left, where the bag was worn at its lower corners. Colors are strong and bright and include a good green. The brighter red seems strong enough to be suspect as an early synthetic dye, but there is no bleeding or fading of this color. Width is 23 inches (58 cm) and height is 26 inches (66 cm). $100 plus shipping
