Old village Bakhtiari with a fantastic lively flowerpot pattern and beautiful abrash - not you your run-off-the-mill variety. Published in Willborg, Peter: "Chahâr Mahal va Bakhtiâri, Including the Feridân Area. Village, Workshop & Nomadic Rugs of Western Persia."
309 cm x 160 cm (bottom) / 153 cm (top). Heavy. Decent low pile, see images. i love the broad improvised border with bold floral patterns. Bought two decades ago at Peter Willborg's shop in Stockholm. Numerous old repairs and repilings. Have no space for this favorite, so need to sell. Please enquire.
