Antique Northeastern finger woven wool assumption sash (ceinture flechee) – Quebec, Metis, Huron
Beautiful, finely woven Assumption sash (Ceinture Flechee). Colors are probably all natural. At least 19th century, possibly earlier. Unusual small size.
Good condition. There are a few of small partial holes and holes. See photographs with sunlight behind them. See photographs, which were taken outdoors without a flash on a partly cloudy day. If you would like more photographs, please message me.
Size: 5” - 5-5/8” wide x 77” long at center excluding fringe. Fringes are 7” long one end and 8”-9” long on the other end
