This five dragon carpet with a center field of naturally dyed lightly abrashed blue comes from either the Ningxia or Beijing region of China and was made in the latter part of the 1800’s / 19th century. The size is 150cm x 74cm (approximately 59in x 29in), the warp and weft are both cotton and it is in very good condition for its age.
