Tibetan under-saddle carpet (makden) made in the early 1900's with beautiful natural indigo blue dyes of varying shades and un-dyed wool. The 'Greek t' main border encases a secondary border with the so-called 'rice grain' pattern, which in turn encases an inner border of pearls. Only two of the saddle girth strap holes have been incised and encased in leather, the other two remain 'un-cut' as is common.
