Shahsavan Persian, knotted circa 1910, antique, collector's item, 94 x 307 cm, carpet id: K-3249
Vegetable dyes, the black knots are oxidized, the knots are hand spun wool, up edge is finished with tiny kilim, the selvages are woven on two lines with wool, the center is with Moghan design, the surrounded large border is ivory with very rare design, at the center two medallions have slightly used pile, the rest part is in acceptable condition, finely knotted, in its original shape.
