Stunning antique Baluch Main Carpet, with extraordinary variety of guls major and minor, 4'8" x 8'4", ready for floor use, with moderate signs of wear. The design of 5 vertical stacks of major guls with lesser ones placed inbetween, includes a total of at least 112 guls of about a dozen different kinds -- instead of the usual monotonous grid (such as the Baluch sold recently for over 5000 at Rippon Boswell.) This extraordinary carpet was written up in great detail by its former owner, the Hamburg artists Detlev Fischer. http://www.oturn.net/rugs/timuri-baluch.html -- Please inquire at johnbatki@gmail.com
