An exceptionally fine and rare antique needlepoint embroidered textile made by the famous Lakai tribe of Uzbekistan circa 1880-1890 period, named Aina Khalita(wedding mirror bag). It has a spectacular color range with superb greens and blue-turquoise, bright, vibrant yellow, and a saturated red color. Textiles like this were made as bridal dowry offerings and would often be hung inside the tent as decoration.It's made using all silk materials, including red colored silk tassels and a completely silky feel cotton multi-colored back. Has many unique talismanic design elements and a spectacular range of all-natural color tones. This is a very fine and unique example that would make a wonderful wall hanging, enhancing your living space and giving it character and beauty.
Has some damage in one of the gul, otherwise in excellent condition for its age.
