Belutch Persian, knotted circa 1915 antique, collector's item, 78 x 164 cm, id: OTB-2
The knots, the warp and the weft threads are mixed with hand spun wool and goat hair. The black knots are oxidized, vegetable dyes, the background color is brown, the center three medallion are surrounded with animals, the surrounded large border is warm rust, the selvages are woven on two lines with goat hair, below edge is finished 2 cm kelim with colored wool, in good condition, finely knotted, soft as an handkerchief and in its original shape.
