Antique Uzbek silk ikat panel of classic design. Size: 7ft 9in x 4ft 3in (237 x 130cm). Circa 1900 or earlier. The panel of traditional silk ikat from the Bukhara region; the panel has a fine satin sheen finish known as 'alosha'. The ikat panel has been re-backed backed with later printed cotton cloth. The condition is excellent with only very slight signs of use. This would make an excellent wall hanging or cover. Stock Number: t-0190.
