Antique Uzbek silk ikat panel of traditional design. Size: 6ft 9in x 3ft 7in (205 x 108cm). Circa 1900 or earlier. The panel of traditional silk ikat from the Bukhara region; the panel is in semi silk adras technique (silk warps and cotton wefts). The ikat panel has been re-backed backed with later printed cotton cloth. The condition is excellent with only very slight signs of use. This would make an excellent wall hanging or cover.
