Antique Uzbek silk ikat panel of traditional design. Size: 4ft 11in x 3ft 11in (150 x 120cm). Circa 1900 or earlier. The panel of traditional silk ikat from the Bukhara region; the panel is in semi silk adras technique (silk warps and cotton wefts). The ikat panel has been re-backed backed with later printed cotton cloth. The condition is excellent with only very slight signs of use, (very slight small stain). This would make an excellent wall hanging or cover. Stock Number: t-0151.
