Antique Yomut Turkmen mafrash / torba in banded flatweave design. Size: 2ft 6in x 1ft 5in (75 x 42cm) face size. Circa 1900/20. This small bag would have been used for the storage of personal belongings. The bag has fine bands of flat woven designs on an soft brown and ivory ground. The bag is complete with its original plain weave back, hanging cords and the original tassels at the base. The bag is in excellent condition with some signs of tribal use. Stock Number: d-1027.
