Antique Yomut Turkmen torba with well drawn 'ashik' gul design. Size: 3ft 0in x 1ft 2in (92 x 35cm) face size. Circa 1880. a good Yomut torba with a soft colour palette and good soft wool. The torba has diagonal rows of aishk guls to the face, on a soft brown ground. The torba retains its original plain weave back which has been opened for display. The torba is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile. Stock Number: d-0076.
