Antique Baluch rug, these Baluch rugs are known as Arab Baluch from the Ferdows region. Size: 5ft 4in x 3ft 1in (163 x 95cm). Late 19th century. The rug has a traditional design unique to this region, the floral tree design is on a camel ground. Note the small birds, animals and other tribal devices. The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile, there is some corrosion as one would expect and a few old repairs. The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
