This circa 1900 Shiraz Persian Oriental Rug #8234 measures 5 ‘3 “ by 6 ‘4 “. This is one of those very full pile Shiraz’s. It has a double medallion in the same color as the ground with a blue and ivory border. The field has an overall design with six hooked crosses, some birds, and some strange teeny animals you have to look to find. The ends need to be overcast. The rug is very attractive and very wooly. There are some small low areas as photographed. i believe this is old moth damage. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $95.
