Antique Derbent Rug – Caucasus
i am offering a beautiful and authentic Derbent rug from the Caucasus, entirely hand-knotted and preserved in very good condition.
The rug is estimated to date from the 1930s–1940s and features the characteristic Derbent geometric and floral patterns in vibrant red and blue tones.
Size: approx. 227 × 130 cm
Origin: Caucasus (Derbent / Dagestan)
Condition: very good, clean, no moth damage, light patina consistent with age
Pile: high, soft and dense
Highlights: classic collector’s rug, rare in this quality
The rug has been well cared for, comes from a non-smoking household, and is ready for immediate use.
Perfect as a decorative centerpiece or a valuable addition to any collection of traditional Caucasian rugs.
