"This Cihanbeyli kilim you see possesses a rich symbolic language that reflects the weaver's feelings and wishes. It is fundamentally shaped around themes of fertility (elibelinde, koçboynuzu) and protection (kurtağzı, muska, göz). The deep red (root dye), navy blue (indigo), and cream colors used are also the classic color palette of this region."
