Antique Persian Malayer rug, hand knotted wool, Iran, ca. 1880, the approximate size is 51x69in, when i first saw this rug i thought it was a Faraghan Sarouk, but...it is woven with symmetrical knots and is single wefted, this is what i call pretty junk, the rug is beat to he double toothpics, with multiple problems, held together with burlap patches and tape, but it looks great in my kitchen, or it would make lovely pillows, $89.00 plus shipping, or pickup in my store at the Renningers Antique Center in Mt Dora fl, see my other listings on my ebay store at allanarthurantiques, additional photos on request, email me at aarthur@cyberrug.com
