Konya Turkish, knotted circa 1820 antique, collectors item, 127 x 195 cm, id: K-4875
Vegetable dyes, the brown knots are oxidized. The knots, the warp and the weft threads are mixed with hand spun lamb wool and goat hair. Both edges are finished with 4cm kelim, the salvages are woven on two lines with goat hair, all over geometric rare design, high pile, certain places are with damages, soft as an handkerchief, in its original shape.
