Avar kilim, 19th century. Very fine weave and dry. The inscription reads "Hu Biarat" or "Hu Baidat" and is in Persian script. This doesn't appear to have a clear meaning in Person and may be a Daghestani name or variation of a word. a couple of small patches on the edges. 118 x 231 cm
