a dazzling antique all silk Turkmen / Turkoman Yomud / Yomut bag. Dating to the 19th century, this particular type of central Asian silk bad is very rare. It belongs to one of the sub tribes of the yomud confideration. The geometric design rendered with the rich primary colours (red, green, blue and yellow) makes it a visual delight. It is very fine and made in a form of float weft technique. i have only seen a handful of these pop. a great piece for any collection. In a very good overall condition. Size: 14cm x 8cm (5.5” x 3.25”). ………..
