Kazak prayer rug, dated to about 1876. The date is inscribed at the top of the mihrab. Note the abstracted beast to the left of the top of the mihrab. Also note the two headless figures in the left hand border of the mihrab. Some of the black bordering areas have seen some repiling. 90 x 119 cm
