Kizyl Ayak Turkmen knotted circa in 1875 antique, collectors item. 400 x 178 cm carpet id: P-6130
The brown color is oxidized, the knots are hand spun lamb wool, the warp and the weft threads are mixed with wool and camel hair, the selvages are woven on three lines with goat hair, the edges are finished with tiny kilim, soft as an handkerchief, high standard quality, up part the oxidized brown knots are slightly short and part is replaced, the background color is warm rust, all over geometric rare design, the below part the design is changed which is considered a rarity, in its original shape.
