Man's bark cloth headhunting headwrapper, Toradja people, Sulawesi, Indonesia, painted with natural pigments, 44 x 56 inches, circa 1900-1940. These wrappers were worn by headhunters as a ritual adornment when they went on headhunting forays. They rarely come up for sale today.
