Ancient Shahsavan embroidered kilim. Rare piece, for reference see Tanavoli. Natural brown wool embroidered with large sprawled hooked pattern, reminiscent of Kazak kilims. Best colors, white is cotton. One red dye deeply corroded exposing the brown flatweave. Nice effect. Several small old repairs. Size 86.6 x 59 inch (220 x 150 cm).
