Antique very large Ikat inspired turkman chuval with some unusual structural features. Appears to have ivory cotton wefting and partial mixed cotton/wool warps. Pile varies from good low pile to very low with foundation peeking as shown. i see a small crudely repaired field tear. i may be hallucinating but i see both Turkish and Persian knotting. All natural colors including nice yellow highlights. As found, in need of a good wash. 19th c. 3’6” x 5’9”
