Description and origin: antique Ersari carpet, from Turkmenistan. a soft red ground with three columns of eleven large Guls surrounded by a narrow angular border. Excellent pile with slight surface mark, attractive original kilim band, with some wear and tears. Age: circa 1900. Dimensions: approx. 412cm x 296cm. Condition: excellent, apart from the fringes, which shows some damage (see pictures).
