Afshar Rug, 5.5ft x 3.9ft (170 cm x 120 cm.) late 19 th. century. Sirjan area, possibly Bolvard village. The dark blue ground with three large diamond shaped lozenges, surrounded by boteh motifs and scattered flower-heads. Good, strong saturated colours. Areas of central wear with a few minor repairs. Re-wrapped side cords.
