Heriz Carpet 10.9 x 14.9 3.32 x 4.54 Of higher Serapi grade, this nw Persian village carpet displays a terra cotta red subfield centred by a palmette pendanted navy nested medallion with ivory Herati patterned ivory corners. The floral cdecoration of the subfield is semi-geometric emphasising ivory, straw, blue-green, dark brown and salmon. The teal main border shows rosettes and doubly bent leaves in the Heriz manner.
