Boro Noragi - Meiji-era Indigo Cotton and Hemp Blend. Thick, handspun indigo noragi with many mending patches. This jacket is heavy and warm and shows many, many years of use, but it still in excellent condition given it's age. The main fabric is a blend of cotton and hemp threads which gives the jacket an almost denim-like feel. The inside has several patches to reinforce areas of heavy use and beautiful sashiko stitching. The proper outside of the garment remains in overall good condition, with one tear near the hem. Great for display or wear, and highly recommended.
