An antique Shekarlu Qasgai rug of unusual small size. Typical design, with a riot of colourful filler elements framed by sunburst borders. a good tribal rug this, with fine silky wool and no synthetic dyes. Good original condition, side cords over bound, a few small crease lines that I’ll probably get fixed. Slightly wider at the bottom end. a rare and collectable little Qasgai that is clean and floor ready. Circa 1880. 186cm x 120cm   6ft 1in x 3ft 11in
