This is a wonderful embroidered dress from Rajasthan, India. The embroidery covers all of the fabric except for the neckline and several strips of Satin fabric under the arms. Some of the Satin strips are worn and the neckline shows some wear, but the rest of the dress is in excellent condition. Personally, i like the fact that it has been worn, probably by the woman who made it since it shows it is old and has a personal history. The design of the embroidery is different in the front and the back. It fits a small woman and comes below the knees.
