The rug pickers find as found: a mid 20th century Turkish utility bag, could be Kurdish, measuring 3'1" wide and 4' long. The second and the last picture emphasize that a distance of 5 inches of side rope is missing, otherwise, this textile is intact, robust, and pretty. The back is solid dark brown with a little s woven in. Those of you who are erudite in your flat-weave or soumak weaving will know what technique she/the artist used in this bag. Thanks for looking.
