Bolivian mantle (nanaka) with bands of undyed vicuna colored alpaca wool on a ground of purple dyed sheep's wool, 40 x 41 inches (102 x 104cm), circa 1900-1950. The use of alpaca wool is rare in this group of weavings; most are made entirely of sheep's wool.
