Early east caucasian rug in distressed condition. Lovely green border and a nicely drawn colorful lattice with a large variety of delicate inset elements. Rug is cut and crudely resewn lenghtwise. a small patch and other crude repairs mostly in the center as shown. "As found", dirty but not rotted. All good natural colors. Not a practical restoration but an interesting study piece. ca. 1850. 3'5" x 4'4"
