The very coarse wool weave on a cotton foundation, with many wefts inserted between the rows of knots, is typical of the provenance; the same technique is used in gabbehs. An example that compares well is found in Brüggemann & Böhmer. – Original finishes all around, good condition. Minor repairs to selveges.
