Antique ca. 1875 or earlier majestic tree of life Baluch prayer rug. Excellent condition, very fine weave. Complete original long flat woven kelim ends. The tree of life is rendered in an open field (like the finest antique weavings), and populated with lots of beautifully drawn goats. Rich coppery reds and glowing indigo inform an archetypal botanical boarder. This was a wall hanging and i received many compliments as it radiates authentic tribal authority and presence. 2'7" x 4'8". Priced to sell. a collectors piece. p.o.r.
