Rare Gossamer Quality Cloth-like finely woven early 19th. Cent. Tekke Striped Chuval with alternating pile and flat-woven areas. Pile consisting of red and light and dark blue wool, white cotton, and yellow and crimson silk. Elem completely in pile on a white cotton background with yellow and crimson silk details. Woven with both Asymmetric and Symmetric knots. Excellent condition, 42'' x 30''.
