Old Indian Rajasthani Bridegroom’s Turban Length. Handloomed turban from Thar Desert region. 170 inches (14.5ft) x 21 inches. The textile has a red cotton foundation with colorful warp-face brocading to create the stripes and diamonds design. These were originally woven in the Sind area and later in the Thar and Kutch regions. Worn by bridegrooms for that special occasion. Would work well now as a shawl if you wanted to wear it. Excellent condition except a little dirty on the ends, which need a wash.
