fragment of an early rare ningxia carpet. this design mostly found on eastturkestan carpets is extremly rare on ningxia (of this age!), possibly unique? the remnant corner of which must has been a wonderfull carpet, was mounted as a tibetan khaden and used there as you can see. the cloth frame need to be removed and the fragment stabilized. china around 1750 or before. 114x 74cm (without the cloth frame)
