'Arab Baluch' Bagface from Khorossan. 19th century. Former Anne Halley Collection piece. asymmetrical knots open right with highlights in purple and green silk and great saturation of natural colors. Much of the flatwoven floating weft work on the top is preserved and the combination of geometric elements with animals is quite nice. (33" x 28")
