Chinese antique embroidery roundal made from what was likely a luxury export bedcover this exquisite small embroidery is done in gold wire and silk embroidery onto silk. Enhanced with a gilt braid and later waxed plain blue chintz. Possibly used as a chalice cover in say Portugal but without any staining.
