Antique Senna rug 2’0” x 2’11” #8095
This third quarter 19th century Senna rug measures 2’0” x 2’11”. It has a beautiful red field with a blue pulled diamond medallion with a white center. It has blue corners with a Herati design. The major border is two colors of red flowers with blue on a dark blue ground encompassed with one reciprocal set of borders, one on a red ground and one on a yellow ground with small crosses. The center of the rug shows even wear. The corners seem to be full pile. The ends are missing the outer reciprocal border and a little bit of the main border but the pile is good. The rug is sold ‘as is’. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $35.00.
