Antique Senna rug 2’0” x 2’11” #8095 This third quarter 19th century Senna rug measures 2’0” x 2’11”. It has a beautiful red field with a blue pulled diamond medallion with a white center. It has blue corners with a Herati design. The major border is two colors of red flowers with blue on a dark blue ground encompassed with one reciprocal set of borders, one on a red ground and one on a yellow ground with small crosses. The center of the rug shows even wear. The corners seem to be full pile. The ends are missing the outer reciprocal border and a little bit of the main border but the pile is good.
