#7790 Khotan Vintage Rug This mid-20th century Khotan Oriental Rug measures 4’8” x 8’8”. It has three medallions in red, aubergine and very pale green on a pale yellow ground. There are four pale aubergine medallions separating two pair of pomegranate corners done in Chinese fretwork. The major border has typical Khotan open work. The minor border on a light blue ground has a meandering vine and leaf motif. The outer border is a deep clear red with an asymmetric floral and geometric design. This rug is essentially perfect for its age. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go.
