Serapi Heriz Persian knotted circa 1905 antique, 315 x 228 (cm) 10' 4" x 7' 6" carpet id: P-4609
The knots are hand spun lamb wool, the black knots are oxidized, the selvages are woven on two lines with wool, the background color is terracotta, the center medallion is terracotta with brick and indigo, the four corners are sky blue with brick and green, the surrounded large border is indigo, below part of the carpet has worn places, fine knotted, elegant and in its original shape.
