Istanbul Painted Church Panel with Mary and Child flanked by cherubim. Late 19th to Early 20th Century. This was probably commissioned for the Greek or Armenian church in Istanbul. It is oil painting on a cotton or cotton/silk ground. Beautifully executed. a wonderful Istanbul church artifact. 50 x 161 cm
