Aymara Mantle, (Wallas) Altiplano region Bolivia, 19th century. Unusually varied colors with lots of bi-chrome alpaca yarns seen in these details, some shot in shade and some shot in the sun for comparison. Excellent condition, 39.5 by 44 inches. Note the beautiful drape in this warp faced textile.
